Claymation fo clay animation is a form of stop motion animation.
Clay animation usually involves a process of taking an individual picture for each frame., molding the animation to the next step in movement, then taking a picture. Using editing software, the pictures are edited, color corrected and then put in order; using pace, the images appear to move through the magic of stop motion.
It’s also possible to do clay animation entirely digitally. Although I bit less time consuming the final product can lack the charm of true hands on clay animation.
